Inspection method before starting:
1. For new or long-term discontinued motors, the insulation resistance between windings and winding to ground should be checked before use. Usually, 500V insulation resistance meters are used for motors below 500V; Use a 1000V insulation resistance meter for 500-1000V motors; Use a 2500V insulation resistance meter for motors above 1000V. The insulation resistance should not be less than 1M Ω per kilovolt working voltage and should be measured when the motor is cooled.
2. Check the appearance of the motor for cracks, ensure that all fastening screws and parts are complete, and ensure that the motor is properly secured.
3. Check whether the operation of the motor transmission mechanism is reliable.
4. According to the data shown on the nameplate, whether the voltage, power, frequency, connection, speed, etc. match the power supply and load comparison.
5. Check whether the ventilation and bearing lubrication of the motor are normal.
6. Pull the motor shaft to check if the rotor can rotate freely and if there is any noise during rotation.
7. Check the assembly of the motor's brush and whether the brush lifting mechanism is flexible, and whether the position of the brush lifting handle is correct.
8. Check if the motor grounding device is reliable.
